Our Emergency Treatments

  • Tooth Extractions: When a tooth is severely damaged and cannot be saved, extraction may be the best course of action to relieve your pain and prevent infection. While we are able to do most extractions on the same day, complications do sometimes arise and our first priority is always your health and comfort.

  • Root Canals: For teeth with deep decay or infection, a root canal can help save your tooth while eliminating pain.

  • Dental Crowns and Bridges: If your tooth is cracked or broken, we can provide dental crowns or bridges to protect your teeth and restore your smile.

  • Dental Implants: If your tooth is knocked out completely, we offer dental implants as a durable, natural-looking replacement option.

  • Pain Management: Regardless of the treatment required, our primary goal is to alleviate your pain. We offer various pain management solutions to ensure your comfort throughout the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept emergency walk-ins?

While we recommend calling ahead so we can prepare for your arrival, we understand that some emergencies don’t allow for this. We will always do our best to accommodate walk-in emergencies during our operating hours.

What if I have a dental emergency outside of your operating hours?

If your dental emergency occurs outside our operating hours, please visit the nearest emergency room. Once you’re stabilized, get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can provide the necessary follow-up treatment.

How do I manage pain while waiting for my emergency appointment?

Over-the-counter pain relievers can help, but avoid putting aspirin or other painkillers directly against your gums, as this can burn your gum tissue. You can also try rinsing your mouth with warm salt water.

Are there certain emergencies that can't be addressed on the same day?

While we are able to see you for all emergencies on the same day, there are certain procedures that might need to be scheduled for another date. While rare, complications do sometimes arise and our first priority is always your health and comfort. In the case of complications, we will make sure to see you, diagnose the problem, and provide immediate help and pain relief on the same day. Then we will schedule the surgical procedure for a later date. Complications that may arise include:

  • Infection: If there is a severe infection in the tissue surrounding your tooth, we will need to prescribe antibiotics to combat it before we can extract your tooth. This prevents pain and unnecessary risk during the procedure. In this case, we will schedule the actual extraction procedure for a later date.
  • Time constraints: If Dr. Singla diagnoses an issue that will require a complex surgical procedure, we want to ensure that we have enough time for the full procedure. Our goal is always to maximize your health, comfort, and safety. In this case, we will provide pain relief and a detailed treatment plan, and we will schedule the full procedure for another day.
